Nathan Gams has been a member of the design community for 15 years as designer, art director, and creative director for software companies and advertising agencies in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and New Hampshire.

A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and Savannah College of Art and Design, he currently manages his own design studio, and works with area nonprofit organizations, as well as teaching full time.

As creative director for Sierra Online software publishers, he oversaw the creation of games such as Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within and numerous prototype developments. While at Sierra, he took over the role of creative director for the in-house creative services department. With a staff of 24, the department created frontline packaging and advertising for the company’s many diverse products.

Nathan's work has appeared in Print Magazine and he has been the recipient of awards from software publications and associations including a 1995 Print Magazine Regional Design Excellence Award for Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within software packaging; a 2000 Software Information Industry Association Immy Award, Best Product Line Packaging for Sierra Hoyle Series software products; as well as a Golden Oak Award from the Central California Advertising Association for his work with the Children’s Hospital.

SInce 2001, he has been an instuctor and assistant professor at McIntosh Colleges Academy of Design and technology in Dover New Hampshire.
